The off season provides an opportunity for East Coast Pipeline Racing to ensure they are as prepared as they possibly can be for the season. A lot of time is put into building new cars, rebuilding motors, chasing sponsorship, designing new merchandise etc, but one thing that is standard from year to year, is Robbie's attention to safety, not only on the cars, but his own personal safety.

Robbie has an impressive list of personal sponsorships with major brands, including Revolution Racegear & the RPM brand, Buttlerbuilt Seats and Bell Helmets. Robbie has a continued long term relationship with these companies for one very clear reason, that they provide him with some of the best saftey gear on the market.

Recently while speaking to Robbie he commented to me, “safety is something that can be overlooked in talking about the up-coming season, but it isn't something that drivers take for granted. Product choice in safety seems to be increasing all the time, however the personal contact that I have with these companies has always allowed me to receive the best advice and product information. At the end of the day we have the choice to buy any brand, but I have a continued relationship with these compnaies because I believe they make the best product for me.
