Help Fight The Big ‘c’
Author : Jodie Krikke - KMS media

Many of us in the Speedway community have witnessed just what being diagnosed with cancer can be like. So Krikke MotorSport along with Bunbury Toyota are once again helping to fight back and they’re ‘Racing for a Cure’

Krikke MotorSport’s team boss, Shane Krikke, knows only too well what it feels like to receive the horrifying news when he was diagnosed with ‘Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma’ back in 1998.

Shane undertook a three year battle against the disease and thankfully is one of the lucky ones that fought back to beat it.
But sadly, many more have not been so lucky.

“I know firsthand what a diagnosis like cancer can do to your life and to the life of your family and friends around you. I also know many friends and family who have been through a similar deal; some like me have beaten it but sadly we’ve lost too many people to it too.’ lamented Krikke. “So last year we organized a team through Bunbury Toyota to try and make a difference by fundraising for cancer research and patient care by participating in the Cancer Council’s RELAY FOR LIFE. It was a great success and we managed to raise over $13,000 but this year we want to top that!’

So race fans here’s how you can do your bit.

Krikke MotorSport are selling all their last year’s t-shirts for just $20each (inc. postage) and ALL monies raised goes directly to the Cancer Council.

All you’ll need to do is send us through an email at krikkemotorsport@westnet.com.au with an order request and we’ll get back to you and let you know if we have your size available plus the payment details.

It’s that simple!

Not only will you be getting a great t-shirt at the tax man’s expence but you’ll also help us to help millions as we raise those much valued dollars for the Cancer Council and hopefully get one step closer to a cure!
