Danny Reidy and the Reidy Racing team endured a tough run last Saturday night at the Toowoomba Speedbowl, but their persistence was rewarded with a satisfying feature-race result.
After battling with the Qld # 5 Desert Palms Resort in Alice Springs supported J&J throughout the night, Reidy still managed to qualify directly into the feature race, starting from position 12, and ended up seventh at the fall of the chequered flag.
“It wasn’t one of our better nights; because we were struggling with the car in our heat races due to the crash from the previous meeting, but it was pleasing to get on top of the car in the feature race and be able to move forward,” explained Reidy, who had finished his two heat races in third and fifth respectively. “We were chasing after the car for the majority of the night, and by the feature race we had sorted out our dramas, but our feature-race setup suffered a little.”
This Saturday night (December 14), Reidy returns to Archerfield Speedway for the sixth round of the KRE Sprintcar Series.
Reidy Racing would like to thank Desert Palms Resort in Alice Springs, Downs Tinting & Signs, P & M Motor Body Repairs, Gonzo’s Race Pipes and Inglis Race Engines for all of their 2013-14 season support.
