A big V8 triple treat will feature this Friday night (February 17) at Adelaide Motorsport Park with Round 9 of the Australian 360ci Sprintcar All-stars Series, Late Models and AMCA Nationals on the action-packed program. All three classes have attracted strong line-ups with drivers from across Australia set to converge on the Virginia venue for what should be one of the best Fast Friday race meetings of the season.

The 360ci Sprintcars will see a field of 24 cars take to the track with drivers from South Australia, Victoria, the Northern Territory and New South Wales.

Leading the entry list is current series Champion and points leader Brenten Farrer, who has been a model of consistency this season with five podium results this summer. Joining him in what is a star studded Victorian entry is Chris Soloman, Phil Lock, Paul Soloman, Kane Newcombe and Daniel Ellis.

But the local drivers will be keen to defend their home turf and with the likes of Mark Caruso, Dan Evans, Michael Lovegrove, Jamie Hendry, Michael Burford, Lisa Walker and Tyson Chambers the likelihood of a home town win will be high.

Other interstate entries for the 360ci Sprintcars include Jamie McInnes (NT) and Darryl Guerin and Stacey Galliford from New South Wales.

In the Late Models the South Australian entry list includes some of the best sedan drivers in the state with Ryan Alexander, Matt Crimmins, Mark McCarthy, Steve Vaughan and Luke Raymond set to fly the local flag with a whole host of interstate drivers.

Current Australian Super Sedan Champion Callum Harper will be on hand in his American left hand drive sedan along with fellow Tasmanian Brad Smith. Current South Australian and Victorian Late Model Champion Ben Nicastri (NSW) will return to Adelaide for the first time since his SA Title victory in April while Western Australians Chris Pavlovich and Michael Holmes will bring their vast experience across the Nullarbor to take on some of the best drivers from the East Coast.

Finally, Warrnambool’s Fiona Verhoeven, who has been a regular visitor to AMP, will return once again to take on the 430-metre clay oval.

The AMCA National event will see 14 cars in action throughout the night.

Gates open at 5pm with the main action starting at 7:30pm.
