83 Nominations – 4 Past Champions

With nominations now closed for the 2024 Locked Down Australian Sprintcar Championship the official car count at the cut off time stood at 83 drivers with nominations received from all Australian States.

The current field includes a total of four previous winners with defending Champion Jock Goodyer joining Marcus Dumesny, Kerry Madsen and James McFadden while a further three drivers have graced the podium previously. In addition to South Australian Matt Egel, who was third in 2018 at the Borderline Speedway, the entire 2023 podium from Perth will return with Goodyer, Queensland’s Lachlan McHugh and Western Australian Callum Wiliamson all set for another Title tilt at Warrnambool.

The field also includes several defending State Champions with Matt Egel (SA), Marcus Dumesny (NSW), James McFadden (WA), Ryan Newton (Qld) and Grant Anderson (NT).

The 2024 Locked Down Australian Sprintcar Championship will be held at the Premier Speedway in Warrnambool on January 26 and 27, 2024.
