Double Points Shuffle the AHG Pack
Author : Ken Brown
No "Joker" cards were allowed to be played for the Western Australian Sprintcar Championship meeting last Saturday but the allocation of double points for the night has seen some changes in the AHG Sprintcar Series leaderboard.
Luke Dillon, who finished fourth in the title tilt, still shows the way on 1272 points.
Defending AHG Sprintcar Series titleholder Cameron Gessner has jumped from fourth spot up to second, courtesy of his strong second place finish.
Daniel Harding is only two points behind Gessner in the rankings, and still sits in third.
Carl Dowling holds fourth place - down from second with Bradley Maiolo jumping two places to fifth.
Jamie Maiolo maintains his sixth spot ahead of Jason Kendrick (down from fourth) and Trent Pigdon (up from eleventh).
Rookie Jason Pryde is in ninth (up from tenth) with David Priolo and Cale Sotiroff sharing tenth in the pointscore.
Round #7 is set down for this coming Saturday at Quit Collie Speedway with the running of the "Coal Miners Cup".
The points allocation goes back to normal (150 points for the win, 146 for second and 144 for third, etc) with drivers able to play their "Joker" card if they have not already done so.
